Job Description
Regional coordinator for CSR policy :
Takes part in the Group CSR Committee, in order to collaboratively build the CSR policy, and shares its implementation’s progress at the local level
Establishes the proper strategy & good practices for training local employees on sustainability issues and challenges, so as to engage them in the solutions’ generation and implementation
Within the local subsidiary, involves and collaborates with the MD and each department in order to translate the Group CSR directions into local targets and action plan
Ensures all investments (CAPEX) and costs (OPEX) related to CSR policy are proposed and agreed upon with the local HODs and MD, as well as with the CSR Group Director, on a yearly basis
Engages internal stakeholders and establish a network of CSR champions within the organisation, to implement the projects according to plan in a collaborative team spirit across departments
Coordinates the implementation of this CSR plan within the region, encompassing key initiatives in Naturality & Nutrition, Responsible Sourcing, Environment, and Communities’ fields.
Regional pilot for Responsible Sourcing :
Ensures the regional implementation of the agreed process (Supplier commitment, Audits …)
Collaboratively with buyers and suppliers, traces raw mats, secures risks, obtains certifications & validates new opportunities
Convinces & drives suppliers to increasingly source from sustainable to regenerative agriculture
Identifies and set up MONIN regenerative farm project: plant varieties, location, team recruitment … and drives initiatives to accompany supplying farmers in their conversion towards agroecology
Identifies the transformation processes of key raw mats and propose ways to better control them.
Regional antenna for CSR regulation & communication
Understands regional reality (markets’ regulations & context) and takes it into account in the CSR policy
Collaborates with Marketing team in order to communicate CSR policy progress internally and externally
Acts locally as the knowledge leader and expert for CSR, developing a network of CSR partners (public authorities, industrials involved in sustainability, consultants …), and attending relevant industry events
Develops an annual CSR report that provides clear information on strategy, delivery and performance
