Job Description
Manage the whole process in farming operations, including planting, growing and harvesting crops.
In charge of the daily operations of farm and prepare a complete daily, weekly and monthly work program.
Prepare a complete yearly budget for planting activities.
Design and implement monitoring system and supervising the proper growth of the crops including ensuring suitable fertilization, and extermination of pest and weeds.
Manage the farm supervisor and team of farmers to ensure that scheduled maintenance of the crops are carried out as planned.
Plan and monitor the usage of farming inputs and making requisitions where necessary.
Ensure that proper records are maintained for the farm operations, including operational, financial and compliance records.
Report and provide updates to the Management regarding progress of planting, harvesting and sales.
Ensure safe working environment and compliance with food safety practices.
Candidates with experience in fruit/vegetable farming (eg. durian / banana / melon / pineapple / other crops) are highly encourage to apply.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate holds a Bachelor Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or related fields.
Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the position.
Strong in awareness of industry trends, technology and developments.
Must have knowledge in crop protection, biochemistry, cash-crop farm management
