About the Company
Your future employer is looking for an energetic and dedicated Restaurant
Area Manager. The employer is a well-known food and beverage company in
Malaysia.
Here is the work location:
Klang Valley (KLCC, Damansara Perdana, Bangsar and Sunway)
To succeed in this position, here's what you need:
Excellent command of English
Required to have minimum 3 years’ experience in managing semi-fine dining
restaurants.
Strong interest and passion in serving, have high interest to make a
great dining experience.
Strong leadership skills, able to make sound decisions or problem
solve.
A natural leader and motivator, able to grow and develop others.
Possess good follow up skills, able to enforce and execute.
Pro-active and resourceful.
Effective time management and delegation.
Able to interpret financial data (Profit & Loss).
Humble, always ready to listen and learn from others.
Good interpersonal skills, able to interact well with all levels.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Required to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Flexible to travel between outlets.
Here are the roles and responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations
Collaborate with Kitchen Operations to plan for manpower required per
shift and to arrange back-ups as required.
Enforce standards to manage restaurant operating costs and
profitability.
Preparation long term plans of scheduling and hiring plans by planning
through forecast of demand fluctuation, holiday planning, employee
movement, attrition and to advise Floor Supervisors on the manpower
projection of the restaurant.
Build and maintain strong working relationship with customers &
employees.
Plan, review and execute inventory management, control and to make
purchases and stocks based on sales volume.
Conduct check on cash float, change, documentation and collection.
Evaluate employees’ performance and provide training to all employees
while maintaining product knowledge among employees.
Customer Service & Quality Assurance
Oversee operations to ensure compliance to SOPs, safety regulations,
implementation policies and guidelines in the restaurant.
Regularly review and work on improving customer service standards of all
outlets by ensuring excellent service at all times.
Able to manage and handle customer complaints or dissatisfaction and
investigate causes and reasons for customer complaints.
Determine corrective actions to resolve unsafe and/or non-compliant
conditions and behaviors regarding personal and food safety.
